General Description
Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% solution is a surgical hand scrub used for healthcare personnel hand wash, patient preoperative skin preparation, skin wound cleansing, and general skin disinfection.
Ingredients
Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% (W/V)
Dosage and Directions for Use
Wet hands and forearms with water. Scrub for 3 minutes using about 5 ml of product with a wet brush, paying close attention to nails, cuticles, and interdigital spaces.
Side Effects and Special Precautions
Keep out of eyes, ears, and mouth. May cause serious and permanent eye injury if placed in the eye during surgical procedures, or deafness if instilled in the middle ear through perforated eardrums.
If contact occurs, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Repeated general skin cleansing of large body areas should not be done unless medically necessary to reduce bacterial skin population. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation occurs.

Store below 25°C.
